The Azofra I Mining Project is located in the District of Tambo, in the Provice of La Mar, in the Department of Ayacucho, of Peru. The closest town is the town of Quinua, known for its artisanal products. Access to the mine site is by asphalt road from Lima to Ayacucho. This road is a major highway in good condition and it is approximately 8 hours travel time. From Ayacucho to Quinua is another hour by asphalt road, then approximately 20 minutes to the mine site, partly by asphalt road then on graded road, both in good condition. At the mine site, there is evidence of mineralization observable by the oxidation and sulfurization of the manganese. According to the studies conducted, there is indication that the structural complex of this zone is one indicative of mineralization deposits and substantial reserves of manganese. The mining plan for the Azofra I Mining Project is set to begin production of manganese ore with head assay of 46% Mn and higher by 4th quarter 2017. The goal is to produce 3,000 MT of ore monthly in the first few months. The mineral will be ready for export beginning 2nd quarter 2018.
